The Hunger Games Tribute Guide by Scholastic I’ve taken to collecting THG merchandise lately (I started with the books, of course), and this is the latest addition to my growing collection, costing PHP325. While waiting for my friend, I decided to take a peek at it, and ended up finishing the whole damn thing. The book serves as a suitable guide for fans who are gearing up to watch the films; it tells the story of how the Hunger Games came to be as well as give readers a behind-the-scenes look at the 74th Hunger Games. The book is written in such a way that it is light-hearted and pro-Capitol, so it kind of gives that Panem Cosmopolitan (if they had any) vibe. Everything is in full color, so you get pictures galore and pick up some pieces of information that were not included in the trilogy. For a collector like me, it’s definitely worth the price.
